(a) The Director of Public Safety/Service shall provided forms for home sale permits and permit applications. The application shall include the name of the applicant, who shall be a resident of the City, his or her address and telephone number, the nature of the merchandise to be offered for sale and the date, hours and duration of the sale.
(b) The Director of Public Safety/Service shall review the application and, upon approval, shall regulate the hours of the home sale, which hours shall be stated on the permit. However, no home sale shall commence earlier than 8:00 a.m., or continue later than 9:00 p.m. A copy of the application shall be submitted to the Chief of Police.
(c) No fee shall be charged for a permit.
(d) Every person conduction a home sale shall keep posted in a prominent place upon the premises the permit certificate and shall exhibit the same upon request.
