(a) The position of Secretary to the Fire Department is hereby established. The duties of such Secretary shall be those assigned by the Fire Chief and include but are not limited to operation of office equipment and general clerical and secretarial duties.
(b) Compensation for such Secretary shall be as established from time to time by Council. The position shall be a full-time position and the employee performing such duties shall receive all fringe benefits as are available to other full-time employees, including vacation, hospitalization, holiday pay and sick leave.
