The position of Engineering Technician I is hereby established. The Engineering Technician I shall work under the direction of the City Engineer and shall prepare estimates, designs and specifications for public works projects; review related engineering field surveys and research; prepare and maintain related records and documents; respond to inquiries from the general public; and perform such other tasks as shall be designated by the City Engineer.
