The position of Engineering Technician II is hereby established. The duties of the Engineering Technician II shall include assisting the City Engineer, planning and administering work, acting as inspector of buildings and of the sewer and water systems, assisting the City Engineer in analyzing problems and making recommendations for solutions and acting as City Draftsman. Further, the Engineering Technician II shall participate in the design of various traffic, hydraulic and highway engineering projects; prepare and maintain related records, reports and other documentation; inspect work in progress; prepare and review plans and specifications; and perform such other work and functions as directed by the City Engineer.
