(a) There is hereby established the position of Data Processing Coordinator.
(b) The Data Processing Coordinator shall be hired by and work under the immediate supervision and direction of the City Auditor and shall perform such functions and tasks as determined by the Auditor in consultation with the City administration.
(c) The wages to be paid to the Data Processing Coordinator shall be as established by Council.
(d) The position of Data Processing Coordinator is declared to be confidential in nature, such that any information gained as the result of any activity conducted by the Data Processing Coordinator shall be confidential and no disclosure thereof shall be made except for official purposes or as ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction. Any violation of this subsection on the part of the Data Processing Coordinator shall expose such employee to immediate discipline, including dismissal, and, upon sufficient proof of such violation, such employee shall be punished as provided in Section 234.99.
(e) Council shall review the position of Data Processing Coordinator three years after the initial implementation of such position, for the express purpose of determining whether or not there is a need for the continued existence of such position. If, pursuant to such review, Council determines that the position is no longer necessary, then the position shall be declared to be terminated six months from the date of such determination.
