(a) The City is hereby authorized to participate in the State of Ohio's Cooperative Purchasing Program and thus to participate in State contracts which the Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing, has entered into for the purchase of supplies, services, equipment and certain materials pursuant to Ohio R.C. 125.04.
(b) The Director of Public Safety and Service is hereby authorized to agree in the name of the City to be bound by all contract terms and conditions as the Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing, prescribes, which terms and conditions the City does hereby agree to be bound by and obligated to.
(c) The Director of Public Safety and Service is hereby authorized to agree in the name of the City to directly pay the vendor, under each State contract in which the City participates, for items the City receives pursuant to such contract or contracts.
(d) There is hereby authorized the payment to the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing of such annual administrative fee required to be paid by applicable State law.
(e) The Auditor of the City is hereby authorized to file all necessary reports required by the State of Ohio, Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing.
(f) A copy of original Ordinance 93-128, passed August 3, 1993, from which this section was derived, shall be certified to and filed with the Office of State Purchasing upon its effective date.
