(A) The net amount billed for utility services is due and payable within a period of 15 days as shown on the bill. If the net amount is not paid on or before the due date shown on the bill, the gross amount, which is 3% more than the net amount, is due and payable. The net amount of the bill will be accepted in full payment after the expiration of the next payment period for one billing period in each calendar year.
(B) The charges and discounts established in this code shall be prorated by the village for customers receiving service for less than a full billing period.
