The Street Superintendent shall not issue any permit for any private driveway or for breaking or for removing any street curbing where the proposed opening would create an unnecessary hazard to pedestrians using any sidewalk intersected by the driveway, nor shall any permit be issued for a driveway in excess of 35 feet in total width as measured from the appropriate right-of-way lines, or where the proposed driveway would create a traffic hazard, or where the proposed driveway would constitute a violation of the village zoning ordinance.
