§ 155.045 PRESERVATION OF NATURAL FEATURES.
   (A)   In all subdivisions, due regard shall be shown for natural features such as large trees, unusual rock formations and water courses, sites which have historical significance and similar assets which, if preserved, will add attractiveness and value to the subdivision and to the community. All trees on the plat which are to remain shall be preserved during development. The sketch plan shall show the number and location of existing trees and shall indicate those trees required to be retained.
   (B)   The planting of new trees throughout the development is encouraged, but in no case may trees be planted within the public rights-of-way of residential areas. Where trees are planned within other public rights-of-way, the location of such trees shall be included in the sketch plan as submitted with the preliminary plat.
