(A) Lift station precast structures shall be placed on a level, undisturbed subgrade. Before being put into operation, the structures shall be inspected for leakage. All piping shall be plumbed straight either vertical or horizontal as required.
(B) Upon installation of the pumps, the manufacturer or his or her representative shall provide start-up and testing services to ensure proper installation and operation of the lift station pumps and controls. The start-up services shall be coordinated with the town and be witnessed by appropriate town personnel.
