§ 154.123 DUCTILE IRON PIPE.
   (A)   Pipes. All ductile iron pipe shall be manufactured in accordance with C150/A21.50 and AWWA/ANSI/Typ C151/A21.51. Pipe shall be Pressure Class 350 for pipes 12 inches and smaller and Pressure Class 250 for pipes 14 inches and larger. All ductile iron pipes and fittings shall be cement mortar-lined and seal-coated in accordance with AWWA/ANSI C104/A21.4.
   (B)   Pipe joints. Pipe joints shall be either push-on or mechanical joints as shown on the drawings in Appendix A of this chapter and manufactured in accordance with the following standards:
      (1)   Push-on joints: ANSI/AWWA C110/A21.10 and ANSI/AWWA C111;
      (2)   Mechanical joints: ANSI/AWWA C110/A21.10 and ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11; and
      (3)   Gaskets: ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11.
   (C)   Pipe fittings. All ductile iron pipe fittings shall be manufactured in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C110/A21.10 and have a minimum pressure rating of 250 psi.
