(A) There shall be and are hereby established the following amended rates and charges for the provision of trash removal and recycling services rendered by certain contractors of said services at the direction of the town.
(1) Residential housing. Each residential address receiving trash removal and recycling services from the town shall be charged a fee of $16.25 per month commencing with the first billing cycle for services in January 2022, billed for the February 2022 billing period.
(a) Each residential address receiving trash removal and recycling services from the town shall be charged a fee of $17.06 per month commencing with the first billing cycle for services in January 2023, billed in the February 2023 billing period.
(b) Each residential address receiving trash removal and recycling services from the town shall be charged a fee of $17.92 per month commencing with the first billing cycle for services in January 2024, billed in the February 2024 billing period.
(2) Commercial. Each commercial address receiving trash removal and recycling services from the town shall be charged a fee of $16.25 per month commencing with the first billing cycle for services in January 2022, billed for the February 2022 billing period.
(a) Each commercial address receiving trash removal and recycling services from the town shall be charged a fee of $17.06 per month commencing with the first billing cycle for services in January 2023, billed for the February 2023 billing period.
(b) Each commercial address receiving trash removal and recycling services from the town shall be charged a fee of $17.92 per month commencing with the first billing cycle for services in January 2024, billed for the February 2024 billing period.
(C) The aforementioned fee shall be included in the monthly wastewater bill issued by the Municipal Works Office and shall be collected by the Clerk- Treasurer along with wastewater billings. If the monthly trash removal fee is not paid by the due date stated on the bill, then a late charge of 10% will be assessed together with any and all costs of collection. Delinquent charges for trash services, as well as applied penalties, recording fees and service charges, shall constitute a lien upon the property and may be collected in accordance with the provisions of I.C. 36-9-25-11.
