§ 154.102 DUCTILE IRON PIPE.
   (A)   Ductile iron pipe shall be centrifugally cast and shall conform to the latest requirements of ANSI/AWWA A21.51/C151 and ASTM A746. Ductile iron pipe shall be Pressure Class 350 minimum for pipe up to 12 inches in diameter and 250 psi for pipe larger than 12 inches. The interior surface of the ductile iron pipe and fittings shall be cement- lined in accordance with ANSI/AWWA A21.4/C104.
   (B)   Pipe joints and accessories shall be of the type shown and shall conform to the following requirements and standards:
      (1)   Push-on joints: ANSI A 21.11 (AWWA C111);
      (2)   Mechanical joints: ANSI A 21.11 (AWWA C111); and
      (3)   Flanged joints: ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.10, 250 psi working pressure rating and drilled to ASA 125 lbs standards.
   (C)   (1)   Pipe fittings shall be short-body pattern designed in accordance with AWWA/ANSI C110/A21.10.
      (2)   Fittings for pipes up to 12 inches in diameter shall be Pressure Class 250, and pipes 14 inches and larger shall be Pressure Class 150.
   (D)   The class designations for the various classes of pipe and fittings, the manufacturer’s name and the year of manufacture shall be cast onto fittings in raised numerals and cast or stamped on the outside of each joint of pipe.
