(A) The contractor shall notify the appropriate utility companies at least 72 hours prior to the start of construction.
(B) The utility companies will locate any existing underground utilities and structures within the site limits.
(C) The contractor, prior to the start of construction, shall verify the location of any existing underground utilities and structures within the site limits. It is the contractor’s responsibility to make any and all exploratory investigations which may be necessary to verify or locate the utility pipes, wires, structures and appurtenances of others.
