§ 154.053 CARE OF EXISTING STRUCTURES AND PROPERTY.
   (A)   All gas, water, drainage or other pipes, poles, fences, sewers, wires, conduits, manholes, buildings, structures and property in the proximity of any excavation shall be supported and protected from damage by the contractor during construction.
   (B)   Wherever sewer, gas, water, drainage or other pipes or conduits cross the excavation, the contractor shall support said pipes and conduits without damage to them and without interrupting their use during the progress of the work.
   (C)   All property shall be thoroughly cleaned of all surplus materials, earth and rubbish placed thereon by the contractor.
   (D)   Any damage to gas, water, drainage or other pipes, poles, fences, sewers, wires, conduits, manholes, buildings, structures and property resulting from the contractor’s work shall be promptly repaired by the contractor. The quality of all such repair work shall be to the satisfaction of the town and the owner of said utility or structure.
