This subchapter describes the work involved with excavating, filling and embankment for the various structures such as utility manholes, lift stations, drainage structures and the like. The work shall include all excavation and trenching, transportation and disposal of excavated materials, as well as handling and storage, all necessary sheeting, shoring and protection of work, subgrade preparations, pumping and dewatering as necessary or required, protection of adjacent property, backfilling, construction of fills and embankments and other appurtenant work as required for the construction.
