(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) Whoever violates any provision of §§ 92.15 through 92.21 of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than $2,500. Additionally, upon a third violation of §§ 92.15 through 92.21, the animal shall be seized and impounded. If such violation results in a dog causing serious injury to any person, then the court may, upon request and after a hearing, order the animal forfeited or destroyed.
(C) In addition to any costs imposed under this chapter, any person, corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, owner, occupant or tenant of real estate who is found to have violated §§ 92.35 through 92.43 of this chapter, or who willfully or negligently failed to comply with any provision of §§ 92.35 through 92.43 of this chapter or with any orders issued hereunder, shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 for each offense. Each day a violation shall occur or continue shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. Citations for violations of §§ 92.35 through 92.43 of this chapter may be issued by the enforcement authority or by the Town Marshal or one of his or her deputies. The Uniform Traffic Citation may be utilized for the purpose of evidencing a violation of said sections. Enforcement shall be in effect by the filing of a civil suit seeking judgment in the amount of the fine imposed plus court costs.
