§ 31.38 TOWN MARSHAL.
   (A)   The Town Marshal is hereby authorized to appoint a reasonable number of Deputy Marshals, provided, however, that no person shall be appointed a Deputy Marshal until his or her proposed appointment has been approved by a majority of the members of the Town Council.
   (B)   The Town Marshal is hereby authorized to appoint reserve officers, provided, however, that no person shall be appointed a reserve officer until his or her proposed appointment has been approved by a majority of the members of the Town Council. The number of reserve officers shall be within the discretion of the Town Council as it may designate from time to time.
   (C)   The Town Marshal is hereby authorized to issue copies of crash reports, as well as to charge a fee of $8 for each crash report and a fee of $1 for each photograph furnished by him or her to an insurance company or any other interested party. In addition, the Town Marshal is hereby authorized to issue police reports, as allowed by state law, and to charge a fee of $8 for each police report furnished to any authorized party.
