For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
BICYCLE. Every peddled vehicle, usually having two tandem wheels, propelled solely by human power and upon which any person may ride.
ROLLER SKATES or IN-LINE SKATES. Any device designed to be attached to the feet which has wheels, is usually propelled by human power and is intended to carry or propel an individual.
SCOOTER. Any board, surface or other similar device which is usually propelled by human power and usually has attached two wheels, and which is used to carry or propel an individual.
SIDEWALK. All sidewalks laid out as such by the town or reserved by custom or usage for the use of pedestrians as sidewalks, but excluding paths, trails or walks which are designated by appropriate signs for bicycle travel.
SKATEBOARD. Any board, surface or other similar device which is usually propelled by human power and usually has attached four wheels, and which is used to carry or propel an individual.
STREETS. Any highway, street, roadway, lane or other public way used for vehicular traffic.
