§ 37.15 OFFICE AND AUTHORITY OF CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
   (A)   There is hereby created the office of Code Enforcement Officer of the city.
   (B)   In accordance with KRS 65.8805, Code Enforcement Officer means a city police officer, safety officer, citation officer, county police officer, sheriff, deputy sheriff, university police officer, airport police officer, or other public law enforcement officer with the authority to issue a citation.
   (C)   Code Enforcement Officers for the city shall have the duty and authority to issue citations for the violations of, and to enforce, all ordinances of the city of which the Code Enforcement Board has jurisdiction.
   (D)   Code Enforcement Officers shall be appointed, pursuant to the authority of KRS 63A.080 by the Green Spring Commission to serve at the pleasure of the executive authority.
   (E)   Code Enforcement Officers for the city shall be required to take the oath of office provided by the constitution of the Commonwealth of Kentucky before entering upon the duties of office. A bond shall not be required to be posted by individuals appointed as Code Enforcement Officers.
