(A) Every person who intends to engage in peddling and soliciting in the city shall make application in duplicate through the City Clerk for a license at least 30 days before the license is to become effective. Each application shall include the following:
(1) Name and address of applicant;
(2) A brief description of the nature of the business or charity and a description of any goods to be sold;
(3) If a vehicle is to be used, a description of same, together with the license number or other means of identification;
(4) A recent photograph not less than 2 x 2 of the applicant showing the head and shoulders of the applicant in a distinguishing manner;
(5) If applicant is not an individual, the names and addresses of the applicant's principal officers and managers;
(B) A fee of $10 shall be paid by each applicant seeking to peddle within the city. There shall be no charge for the issuance of a license for a solicitor for charitable or non-profit organizations. All licenses shall expire December 31 in the year which issued and the fee therefor shall not be prorated.
