(A) Any owner, his or her agent or occupant, who violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than $25 nor more than $500; or imprisoned in the county jail for not more than 50 days, or both, for each offense. Each day in which any such violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) Pursuant to the provisions contained in KRS 65.8808, the maximum civil fine shall be $500 and civil fines less than maximum if not contested shall be $300.
