(A) The following schedule of fees is set for the impoundment of animals at the animal shelter: Impoundment fee - $10 per day.
(B) No animal shall be released to its owner unless the proper license has been obtained for the animal and the fees set by this section have been paid.
(C) An adoption fee shall be assessed at the time of adoption. No dog or cat shall be released for adoption as a pet without being neutered or without written agreement from the adopter guaranteeing that the animal will be neutered. Vaccination fees and veterinary costs may be assessed above and beyond the adoption fee.
