The purpose of the “AG” agriculture district is established to protect and preserve agricultural operations within the city’s incorporated boundaries. Agricultural land and open area should be protected from the encroachment of urban development away from the city core, and that which is inconsistent with the Greensburg Comprehensive Plan.
