§ 94.43 INSPECTION AND NOTICE.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the code enforcement official to cause from time to time the inspection of various lots lying within the corporate limits of the city. If it is found that garbage or trash is being permitted to be deposited on such lots, a violation letter will be sent to the property owner and/or current occupant stating it must be removed within ten days from the date of the letter to correct the violation. If it is found that high grass (over seven inches), yard waste, or nuisance vegetation is being permitted to be grown on or deposited on such lots, a violation letter will be sent to the property owner and/or current occupant stating it must be resolved within five days.
   (B)   The code enforcement official shall not be required to provide subsequent notices to owners of properties in violation if that property, under the same ownership, has been the subject of a violation or notice in the current calendar year. All subsequent occurrences shall be considered a failure to abate and shall be remedied as described in this subchapter.
