Notwithstanding other provisions of this ordinance, fences, walls, and hedges in residential zones may be permitted in any required yard, or along the edge of the property line, provided that no fence, wall, or hedge along the sides or front edge of any front yard (behind sidewalk or front yard property line) be over forty-eight inches in height. Property owner must know the exact proximity of the property lines.
