(A) It shall be a responsibility of the City Plan Commission to recommend the boundaries of the various original districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced therein. The Commission shall make a preliminary report and hold public hearings before submitting its final report, and the Common Council shall not hold its public hearings or take action until it has received the final report of the Commission.
(B) For the purpose of this chapter there are created ten types of districts by which the jurisdictional area defined in § 155.001 shall be divided.
(1) R-1 One Family Residence District.
(2) R-2 Two Family Residence District.
(3) R-3 Multiple Family Residence District.
(4) R-4 Multi-Family Residence District.
(5) B-1 Central Business District.
(6) B-2 General Business District.
(7) B-3 Heavy Commercial District.
(8) I-1 Light Industrial District.
(9) I-2 Heavy Industrial District.
(10) C-1 Conservation District.
