(A) The licenses required by this subchapter shall be numbered consecutively as they are issued and the City Clerk-Treasurer shall enter the same in their order in a book kept for that purpose. Such entry shall show the number and date of each license, to whom and the length of time for which each was issued, the amount paid therefor and also for what purpose and kind of entertainment it was issued.
(B) The Clerk-Treasurer shall at the end of every three months make to the Common Council a written report of all such licenses issued during the preceding quarter as the same shall appear on the books.
