§ 97.03 RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
   The Police Department and/or the Department of Public Works shall be charged with the responsibility for the removal, storage and disposal of abandoned vehicles which have been declared abandoned pursuant to this chapter and IC 9-22-1-1 et seq.
