§ 95.08 PRIVATE ROADS IN THE 911 ADDRESS SYSTEM.
   (A)   No private road in any site plan, planned development or subdivision development shall be named or renamed without the approval of the Common Council of the city.
   (B)   Only the Common Council of the city can change the name of a private road previously recorded or platted and such renaming should only be done by the Council to:
      (1)   Avoid confusion;
      (2)   Avoid duplication of road names;
      (3)   Improve identity of location; or
      (4)   Improve traffic flow within the city.
   (C)   Once a road, street or house has been addressed within the 911 addressing system or named within a site plan, planned development or subdivision development, the only method by which a change can occur shall be to have that issue presented to the Common Council of the city.
   (D)   No change of name of any road, street or private drive shall be valid unless approved by the city.
