§ 71.07 SPEED LIMITS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to drive any vehicle on any street or highway or alley within the corporate limits of the city at a speed exceeding that lawfully set for such street or alley.
   (B)   On all alleys within the corporate limits of the city 15 miles per hour shall be the maximum speed for any vehicle.
   (C)   On streets within the corporate limits of the city, the maximum speed limit for each district shall be as follows: school zone, 20 mph when children present; residential, 30 mph; business, 20 mph; and park area, 20 mph when children present.
   (D)   If the Mayor and Common Council set limits other than those specified in this section and Ch. 75, Schedule I, as provided by statute, or for the safety of persons and property, then such limits shall govern on the streets indicated by appropriate signs indicating such limits.
