Schedule of GIS Map and Data Products

The City of Greensburg will provide hard copy maps produced from its GIS and Digital GIS data for a fee. Fees are based on the costs to produce the requested information. The City of Greensburg Ordinance #      establishes fees for providing electronic maps and electronic databases.

Data Disclaimer

All GIS and electronic database materials, and any services which may be provided related thereto, are provided "as-is" without any warranty of any kind, and all warranties on merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed. In no event shall City of Greensburg be liable to the recipient or any other party for damages of any type, including but not limited to incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising out of the use or inability to use these materials. The law of Indiana, where any litigation arising hereunder shall take place, shall govern this agreement. The agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between the parties and may be modified only by a written agreement.

Section 1: Custom Map Fees

1.1   GIS Maps

The following fees apply to printing cartographic maps. The City of Greensburg GIS Office has a list of available layers for printing.

1.2   Standard GIS Maps

Any non-standard graphics, symbolization, or spatial analysis will be an additional cost based on an hourly rate. GIS maps are created to order in any of sizes and scales that can be produced by the City of Greensburg Software. The City will apply actual cost to any item shipped.

The City of Greensburg will quote prices for other electronic data records not detailed in schedule based on hourly Custom Rate and any direct costs associated with program development or passed on from third party consultants.

The City of Greensburg reserves the right to refuse requests for electronic data products or services that may unreasonably interfere with ongoing operations of the City by requiring an inordinate diversion of City's manpower, materials, or equipment use or would necessitate utilization of an outside contractor.
