§ 33.50 AREA DEPARTMENT CREATED.
   (A)   The provisions of IC 36-7-4-901 through 36-7-4-1003, as amended, are adopted.
   (B)   An Area Planning Department in the government of Decatur County, Indiana, in cooperation with the city shall be established, composed of and providing for an Area Plan Commission, a Board of Zoning Appeals, and executive director.
   (C)   The city shall actively participate in the provisions of the ordinance passed by the county and, with such county government, cooperately establish single and unified planning and zoning agencies to deal with the problems of such governments on a countywide basis, all in accordance with such act.
   (D)   The time fixed for the establishment of such Department and providing for the appointment of its representatives to the Area Plan Commission shall be at the same time fixed by the County Commissioners and as in its ordinance provided.
   (E)   The number of representatives of the city on the Area Plan Commission and the manner of their selection shall be as provided in the statutes cited in division (A) of this section.
