8-1-9: HEARING BOARD:
A hearing board shall be appointed as needed for arbitration of differences between the city and water users on matters concerning interpretation and execution of the provisions of this chapter. The board members shall be appointed by the mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council, and shall consist of three (3) members, one of which shall be representative of a local commercial enterprise, one a residential user and one council member. The board shall meet as required to arbitrate or decide any differences brought before the city council. As the board deems necessary, and upon concurrence by the city, a qualified attorney may be consulted by the board as to a specific case. (1995 Code § 91-9-1; amd. 2003 Code; Ord. 2019-01, 2-12-2019)
