All signs shall meet the following construction standards:
A. Materials: All signs shall be constructed of metal, noncombustible or approved combustible material or materials approved for signs by the Building Code and Electrical Code of the Village 1 , except for signs for which no permit is required;
B. Wind Loads: All signs shall be constructed to withstand wind pressures as required by the Building Code of the Village, except for signs for which no permit is required; and
C. Glass: Any glass forming a part of any sign shall be safety glass. Any single pane or piece of glass having an area exceeding three (3) square feet shall be wire glass. (Ord. 91-06, 8-28-91)
