§ 130.02 DISCHARGE OF WEAPONS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to discharge any firearm or air gun, BB gun, or any toy gun projecting lead, or any other type of missiles capable of producing injury to the human body in and about the territorial and jurisdictional bounds of the city, except in a regularly established shooting gallery or range. However, this section shall not be construed to prohibit any officer of the law from discharging a firearm in the performance of his or her duty; nor to any citizen from discharging a firearm when lawfully defending his or her person or property, or the property of another that is in that person’s care and custody.
   (B)   Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be fined not less than $5 nor more than $50.
