§ 111.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   APPLICANT. Any person applying for a permit under this chapter.
   HOLDER. Any person who has been issued a permit under this chapter.
   ITINERANT MERCHANT. Any peddler, solicitor, or transient merchant selling, taking orders, or otherwise offering any goods, wares, merchandise, or services within the city as contemplated under this chapter.
   PERMIT. The permit required under this chapter to operate as an itinerant merchant within the city, which shall be granted in the form of an identification badge to each holder.
