§ 97.06 DISTANCE FROM STREET CORNERS AND FIREPLUGS.
   (A)   No street trees shall be planted within a triangular sight distance triangle at corner lots at street intersections. The triangular space is determined by a diagonal line connecting two points measured 15 feet equidistant from the lot corner along each property line at intersections of two residential streets or 25 feet at the intersection of any other types of streets, except where engineering standards indicate otherwise.
   (B)   Trees must be planted so that its center is a minimum distance from the following objects:
      (1)   Stop sign, speed limit sign, street name signs: 20 feet;
      (2)   Driveway, alley, fire hydrant, manhole/hand hole, water valve, mailbox, power/light pole: ten feet; and
      (3)   Underground utility service lines running perpendicular to the utility main: five feet.
