It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to burn garbage on his or her own premises within the city limits, except by electric-fired, oil-fired, or gas-fired incinerator or other appliance approved by the Board of Health or its Health Officer. The burning of garbage in an open barrel or any other open container within the city limits is prohibited.
