§ 92.23 LIABILITY OF PERMITTEE.
   The permittee shall assume all liability for and shall hold the city harmless from any damage caused by such opening or excavation, including, but not limited to, damage caused by interferences with existing utilities or injuries to persons or property caused by such excavation. The permittee shall be responsible for maintaining proper signals and guards in and about the said excavation at all times.
