Prior to performing installation, service, repair, inspection, or maintenance of fire protection systems, the qualified person conducting such function(s) shall submit documentation to the Fire Chief, or the Fire Chief’s designee, verifying the qualification for the company or individual for each type of fire protection system being installed, serviced, repaired, inspected, or maintained. Qualification shall conform to the requirements as outlined in each applicable NFPA standard or from the manufacturer of such equipment.
