(A) It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to park the vehicle in a space reserved for the physically handicapped unless there is displayed on the vehicle an unexpired handicapped parking permit, an unexpired disabled veteran’s registration plate, or an unexpired handicapped registration plate or decal issued under the laws of the state or any other state, and only when the vehicle is being used to transport a physically handicapped person.
(B) The following parking spaces are reserved for the physically handicapped.
