There is hereby established a new nonreverting fund to be known as the “K-9 Shirley Gibbs Fund” and given number 446. The 446 Fund shall receive funds from the Shirley Gibbs Trust, and from other donations or fundraising events conducted by, on behalf of, or for the benefit of the City Police Department canine unit to be used for the benefit of said unit. The monies in the Fund shall be subject to the same appropriation process as other city funds that receive tax money.
