In accordance with I.C. 6-3.5-5-15, the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed and authorized to establish and maintain a fund entitled the “Local Road and Street Fund”. The Clerk-Treasurer is further directed and authorized to deposit any monies received by the city from the County Wheel Tax Fund into the Local Road and Street Fund subject to the following terms and conditions:
(A) The monies in the Local Road and Street Fund shall only be used to construct, reconstruct, repair, or maintain city streets and city roads.
(B) The monies held in the Local Road and Street Fund shall be subject to the same appropriation processes as the other city funds that receive tax money.
