§ 30.30 POLICE VEHICLE FUND.
   The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed and authorized to establish and maintain a nonreverting fund to be entitled the “Police Vehicle Fund”. The proceeds held in the Police Vehicle Fund will be subject to the following terms and conditions.
   (A)   Proceeds received by the city from the sale or disposition of police vehicles shall be transferred to the Clerk-Treasurer and deposited into the Police Vehicle Fund.
   (B)   Additional monies received from any other source may be transferred to the Clerk-Treasurer and deposited into the Police Vehicle Fund.
   (C)   Monies held in the Police Vehicle Fund may be used only for the purpose of paying for the repairs of any police vehicle involved in an accident or for the purchase or leasing of motor vehicles for the Police Department.
   (D)   Monies remaining in this Police Vehicle Fund at the end of each fiscal year shall remain on deposit in the Police Vehicle Fund for the succeeding fiscal year and shall not revert to the General Fund.
   (E)   In the event the Common Council should, by ordinance, terminate the Police Vehicle Fund, unless such ordinance directs otherwise, all monies then held in the Police Vehicle Fund shall be transferred to the Clerk-Treasurer and deposited into the General Fund.
