§ 30.02 ELECTED OFFICERS; APPOINTED OFFICIALS.

   (A)   The elected officers of the city, elected in accordance with the provisions of the state election laws, shall be:

      (1)   The Mayor;

      (2)   The Clerk-Treasurer; and

      (3)   The members of the Common Council.

   (B)   The Mayor shall have the authority to appoint the following officials:

      (1)   The City Engineer;

      (2)   The City Attorney;

      (3)   The Street Commissioner;

      (4)   Superintendent of Animal Management;

      (5)   Superintendent of Parks and Recreation;

      (6)   Director of Utilities;

      (7)   Director of Planning and Engineering;

      (8)   Manager of Information Services;

      (9)   Director of Human Resources;

      (10)   Chief of the Fire Department;

      (11)   Chief of the Police Department; and

      (12)   Such members of boards and commissions, officers, and other employees as provided under the laws in effect and as hereafter provided.
