149.01 MEMBERSHIP.

A Board of Hospital Trustees which shall consist of eight members, four of whom shall be members of the Republican party, and four from the Democratic party whose members shall be appointed by Council is hereby created. The Trustees shall be resident electors of the City and shall not receive any compensation for their services.
