Each and every building fronting and abutting on any street in the City shall be numbered in accordance with the approved plans and specifications now on file in the office of the Auditor, which are made a part of this chapter. The owner of any building shall cause the same to be numbered as provided by the approved plans and specifications, and shall thereafter keep his building numbered as therein provided.
