(a) The following shall be the rates charged for the supplying of water service to users inside the corporate limits of the City of Greenfield, by the waterworks system of the City, payable monthly as follows:

(9) Effective January 1, 2025, and every year thereafter, there shall be a three percent (3%) increase to the base rate charges for the previous year.
(b) For the supplying of water service for users outside the corporate limits of the City of Greenfield, by the waterworks system of the City, payable monthly as follows:

(9) Effective January 1, 2025, and every year thereafter, there shall be a three percent (3%) increase to the base rate for the previous year.
(c) The minimum charge for filling bulk water tanks per occurrence shall be as follows:
(1) Effective March 1, 2009, for any size tank up to and including 1,000 gallon capacity: $10.50

(d) The foregoing charges are minimum charges, not maximum charges and the City reserves the right and is obligated to increase the same at any time should the revenue of the waterworks system prove insufficient to pay the operating and maintenance expenses and the debt service charges of bonds issued to improve the system.
