§ 152.081  INSTALLATION OF MANUFACTURED HOMES.
The following are requirements for installation of a manufactured home on an approved space:
   (A)   Each manufactured home is to be set up and installed in accordance with the State of North Carolina regulation of installation of manufactured homes adopted and published by the North Carolina Department of Insurance and the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   Each manufactured home is required to connect with the utilities provided at each manufactured home space.
   (C)   Each manufactured home in the park is required to have a foundation enclosure.  At a minimum, all manufactured homes are to have a foundation enclosure installed which obstructs the view of the structures under the manufactured home.  Also, all exterior openings in or beneath any home are to be appropriately screened with wire mesh or other suitable materials to prevent the possibility of pest infestation.
   (D)   Safe front and rear steps are mandatory for each manufactured home in the manufactured home park.  Should a resident elect to construct a deck, the home is still required to have steps until the deck and its steps, if any, are completed.
